EDITORIAL POLICY
BLOOM does not discriminate against the imagination. Gardeners must identify
as Queer (LGBT), but the flora of their labor need not serve any pre-conceived
notion of beauty. Peonies, sweet williams, ragweed, and gladiolas--every shade
& shape of blossom--are all welcome. Let the garden grow.

PLEASE NOTE
Bloom does not currently review books because there are three
very good sources for queer book reviews:
Books to Watch Out For--new monthly email newsletter written by Suzanne Corson (girl books) and Richard Labonte (boy books)
The Gay and Lesbian Review Worldwide--formerly the Harvard Gay & Lesbian Review, this bimonthly out of Boston offers extensive review coverage of LGBT books, poems, and essays
Lambda Book Report--a publication of the Lambda Literary Foundation, Lambda Book Report is a quarterly publication devoted to reviewing books, interviewing authors, and following the trends in lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender publishing
Please
support these publications--they are important to LGBT writers and audiences.
